how do you guys describe wakeskating to people that dont know what it is do you say "skateboarding on water" or "wakeboarding without bindings" or just post whatever else you say

i basically say exactly what you said joey, either "skateboarding on water" or "wakeboarding with no bindings" it generally gets the point across

I normally start with asking them if they've heard of wakeboarding.... which I really need to stop doing. Then I'll go to the skateboarding on water, pulled by something explaination.

If that fails I'll show them Subvert... but normally point them there anyway.... Yes, I plug for myself LOL.

i usually say that u have a board with grip on top and u get pulled with a ski rope behind a boat and its great fun

i say both skateboarding on water and wakeboarding without bindings it depends on who im talkin to if they kno wat wakeboarding is or not

i just tell people its basically using a way oversized skateboard deck while being pulled by a boat

I basically say skateboarding but on water, if they dont know what wakeboarding is, if they know what wakeboarding is I say wakeboarding with out bindings an different board, but usually both.
