I just started skating recently. After about two days I figured out how to get up. It's still taking a while. I haven't tried any tricks yet, just getting used to riding. I am being pulled behind a 2004 Yamaha FX High Output. I'm wondering if there is any tips anyone could give me on PWX towing. Anything that would make getting up and riding a lot smoother would be great. Thanks. |

drive in a straight line at a constant speed, it's different from ski to ski so i would say about 20 to start off. _________________ ▼▽▲△ |

When in the water, pretend to be sitting in a chair with your board under your feet. Signal the driver to hit it and start angling your board up so you plane to the surface and stand up. It might take a while to get the hang of it, but it requires less effort and puts less strain on you when getting up. If that doesn't make any sense let me know. _________________ Get ya' hair did. |

kyle41 I disagree with that its always fun runing over your rope and getting stuck in the middle of the lake and then having to dive under the seadoo and pulling it free and your left with the memory everytime you look at that mangled piece of crap that you use to call your rope[/b] _________________ ~ www.integrity-wake.com ~ www.iwinchglobal.com ~

On mine it's good to shorten up the rope. Without a prop, you can pretty much ride wherever you want. Depth for the most part is not an issue. Have fun carving around and playing with the surface for a while before you worry about tricks. |
