my friend took a metal grinder to it, you know the kind that sits on a table and spins little rock wheels really fast
and now he cant loosen or tighten his trucks
and Stussy i ride on a pvc rail so im going to end up tearing my rail apart before tthe kingpin wears down
Fred Eisahauer my Royals never touched and they slid really good _________________ HI |

ok, a couple of things:
first, make a rail out of something other than pvc. it's cool for in the water, but get something metal to grind. it not only looks, sounds, and feels better, but your kingpins won't stick into metal like they do plastic.
second, not all trucks have kingpins like that. I think destructos have the most grind clearance, but tensors and ventures are probably the worst. just look at the trucks a little closer in the skateshop when you buy them.
last, if you're doing your 5050s like you should be; with the wheels locked up against whatever you're grinding, you shouldn't have much trouble with your kingpins. Hope this helps. later skater. |
