hey everybody.....ive known about CO&CA for quite a long time now, but just managed to get their new cd (in keeping secrets of silent earth:3) about a week ago...it really kicks ass and you should go buy it right now... anyways, i was just wonderin if anyone else listens to these guys and if you do, what are your thoughts on the whole hidden story thing...any theories on what happens to claudio?

I just got on here and its been awhile and im actually listening to them right now...anyway they do rock and they sound like Rush (vocals) and their guitars are AWESOME definately check it out!!!!

mullet jerk pretty much has it....claudio's (the lead singer) vocals are really awesome...they're really different than most of the bands out today and the whole band is really good: kick ass guitars, a really smooth bassist that can play any type and a solid drummer. im not sure how to describe them really... i dont like to genre- erize bands anyways....seems kinda pointless.....best i can tell you is go download some songs and see for yourself ( i found some really good acoustic versions on kazaa if you dont like the heavy stuff, search there)
and about the story.......i guess the simplest way to explain is that there's a guy named coheed and a girl named cambria (which is how the band got its name) and coheed is injected with a serum by a dragonfly that activates something called the Monstar.. the Monstar is evil and has the power to destroy the entire univers..... after that everything is pretty much guesses and theories since the band hasnt released anything else.......if that sounds interestin, go here

I think i've mentioned this b4 on other posts...but if you like Co&Ca, try giving The Mars Volta a listen. If you like prog rock...and something a little different then the norm, these guys might be right up your alley.

Went to their show back in November with UnderOath, real good. They even played a bit of funk to kick off their encore. Anyways, I remember when I walked by their merch booth, they were selling (what I'm assuming it to be) their comic, titled The Second Stage Turbine Blade. I didn't buy it or look at it, but there's a chance that the story is portrayed inside...

me too, but my comic got signed by the whole band at warped tour. that was very nice of them. another band to check out if you like progressive rock stuff like that is the felix culpa...very good stuff

Coheed and Cambria is a very wierd group. In my opinion I think they are a very stupid, ignorant, repulsive, dull, insipid, boring, tedius, vapid, uninteresting, tiresome, pointless, absurd, inane, asinine, daft, dumb, half-witted, simple, sensless, dense, imbecilic, moronic, thick-witted, foolish, backward, balmy, crazy, fatuous, silly, useless, foolhardy, irrational, frivolous, and nonsensical. They sing like a bunch of castrated fairies. They are horrible.
