at OWC the sheets of plastic look like 4'x8' sheets. I looked at it and it seems to be inbetween 2-3' off the water, and around 30-32' long. It floats with foam, which is underneath the 2 sides (below the main table top). inside is hollow, and it appears to have been constructed with metal framing. The plastic is very slick, and compared to other plastics used in wakeskating, I beleive the type is called "King Starboard." Its around $200 a sheet, but other plastics are around $50 for a 4x8 sheet. sorry for the long post. _________________ .:Wake UP Films:.

lake erie, we built a 6 foot kicker and wanted to float it in the bay by the rt 2 bridge, but it was too heavy.... go easy on the wood - also if you are really going to float that in the bay let me know - hitting that would be fiznackling awesome (i know where that is -- where you ride) |

LakeErie, those 55 gallon drums work good, we used them on a kicker we used to have. just put some water inside of the drums too so that way it sits a little lower in the water and is more stable _________________ P.S.... this is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated |

Yeah, 55's would work, but I dont have building experience with them. If you are going to move it in and out of the water, use as little materials as possible to keep the weight down. From my 55 experience - I set one up to ollie over and a week later it was tilted, too much water got inside or something with how I set it up. Also, any project this big is a beast...I dont think you need 30' to slide. I was going to build one 20', but now the home owner association is complaining about my kickers so.... _________________ .:Wake UP Films:.

Yeah, some wakeboarder up there hit his face on the picnic table and chipped his tooth when I was there. Must have sucked to be him. _________________ .:Wake UP Films:.

That picnic table is fun, I wish we had something like that on our lake. It was so fun, my wife was even killing that thing. |

I love that picnic table, I find it alot more fun on a skate then wakeboard... Isn't it angored (sp?) too? They have the foam to float it, but its also angored, right? |
