XPF is the currency sign, like USD is for dollar. Name is Pacific Franc, but we are directly indexed to the Euro. So it's like if we used euro...

1 buck may be 100 pacific francs, but in the US you buy WAY more with $1 than what you can buy here for 100 francs

Life is expensive here...

Nekkie, I understand the currency conversion quite well... but i didnt know you were tied to the euro, i know in england its like $14.00 usd for a gallon of gas, and thats just insane... im pissed gas here is $2.35

gas being that expensive is a good thing....... i mean it really sucks for people who like boating, like, all of us. but gas prices being that much discourage people from driving everywhere.... like my 280 pound neighbor, he drives to the end of his driveway to get the mail!!!!!!!
