I finished my homemadse wakeskate and now all i need to do is clearcoat it. If anyone could tell me what kind they used it would be a great help. Preferably the airsol type.

aerosol spray is thinned, therefore it will give you a less effective waterproof coating, get a can of Minwax fast drying Polyurethane in clear satin, and buy a NICE brush a cheap one will leave hairs in your finish so get a good one, and brush it on, once youve brushed it on and its even dont brush any more, you want to stop brushing before it kicks off so it leaves a smooth finish, also mask of the edges so you can get rid of any drips easy, I would do it in this order bottom, edges, top sand down any drips and do a touch up. . . .repeat, youll need at least 2 coats preferrably 3-4 good luck _________________ why dont you try playing hide and go Fvck yourself |

Thanks
the clear coat is only to protect the graphic because the board already has 3 coats of marine epoxy to seal it. So hopefully it only need 2 coats becuase i'll be riding it this weekend.
