I am a wakeboarder. I want to start wakeskating and I need help choosing a good board. I want to spend no more than 150 on a board. I dont know if concave is better or grip tape or foam. I want a good board that i can learn on and progress on and it will still be a good board once I am no longer a beginner.

Your best bet for under a 150 would probably be a Kampus k39 or k41. I'm sure Parky will post on here more about the kampus skates.

If I were you I would just save the extra money and get an Integrity wakeskate. It's not made of wood so it will never water log. Even if your a beginner I would recommend the Integ because you can customize the skate to YOUR liking.

If you'd like to know more let me know. Very Happy

dinkadoo, you also might want to look into a Kampus Swing or a cassette flat, or even a sattelyte, I have heard good things about them, but just realize 150 will limit you, and should you really start to enjoy it you will find yourself wanting a better board eventually, if for no other eason than wood doesnt last forever
