perfect pass problems

My perfect pass has been acting funky lately. It shoots way over set speed and then way below it constantly. I have tried resetting it and adjusting it for my ballast(1500lbs). Now it even does it with no weight in the boat.
Maybe i should put a different prop on it, I don't know it's driving me nuts.

sounds like it needs to be recalibrated so i would call whoever had it installed.

libertytatz, Two things come to mind... check the servo that is attached to the throttle cable, over time they tend to loosen up and can cause some weird issues. Its pretty easy to find it and there is a simple adjuster you can just spin and tighten it back up... make sure there is no slack in the cable, but do not over tighten it.

Or... if you notice the # symbol on the display it means you need to give the boat more throttle so that the pass can work properly.

Those are the first things that come to mind. Also are you set up for mph or rpm?

cruis control for boats. slalomers made it cause their gay and wear speedos to public pools, they broke to many nails reajusting the throttle even though they like the feel of it in their hands. but serious, perfect pass is nice but sometimes you have to go back to your roots

I don't know if I'm a weekend warrior, I don't ever go out on the weekends. My boat has perfect pass is that something to ashamed of.. It sure does make driving alot easier and consistant.
