foam to griptape

ima bout to get this board [/url]http://www.liquidforce.com/skate_faction.htm and i was wondering if i should take off the foam and put griptape and does it mess up the board any by doing this thnx 4 da help and is wakeskateing alot like skateboarding becuz i used to be pretty good at skateboarding is like the ollie and kickflip about the same
